Managing Windows Defender False Positives for Skyridge

To ensure uninterrupted usage of Skyridge, it's crucial to address any false positives that Windows Defender might detect. We strongly advise whitelisting Skyridge to prevent such issues. Follow these steps to whitelist the application:

1. Accessing Windows Defender Settings:

   • Navigate to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & threat protection.

2. Adding Skyridge to Exclusions:

   • Within the Virus & threat protection settings, choose Manage settings.

   • Scroll down to Exclusions and select Add or remove exclusions.

   • Click on Add an exclusion, then choose Folder to select your Skyridge folder. Repeat the process to add an exclusion for the Skyridge file specifically.
